My Experience
As someone who grew up with an articulation disorder, I know firsthand how deeply it can affect confidence and self-esteem. My experience inspired me to create Find Your Voice so children can feel supported, understood, and more self-assured when they speak. For years, I felt like I had to hide my voice because I was embarrassed. It took patient role models to help me build my confidence—not in spite of my communication differences, but with them as an important part of my story. I want Find Your Voice to be that kind of support for every child.
